Most awful thing I’ve ever seen or heard. No one enjoys this
@@LilYassofficial Thanks for the tactful, compassionate feedback! But I didn't make this for you.
@@SesameCake Who ever you made it for thinks it's awful that's for sure
i dont hear weird fishes tbh but i have to say its still impressive and beautiful
Nice work stringing this together. A very underappreciated soundtrack -- cool to see it getting some love.
Thanks! Jon Brion is one of my favorite composers. I would love to do a fully-produced cover of "Little Person" one of these days.
Beautiful... (´_ゝ`)
Tutorial please!!??
I'm not too good at tutorials and I also can't read music, sorry! I'll see what I can do since I learned most of the chords by ear.
That's such a cute cover 🥹
@@m.o.r.a.n.4030 Thank you!

I liked this very much, good tribute to the song. I always wanted to learn the piano and enjoy it very much.
tabs please??
Sorry, I didn't actually use one but I do know the chords are: G#, C#m repeated twice then changes to Emajor, A minor, x 2 as well!
@@SesameCake thanks man)

I read your bio and we have such similar taste in music... I love this piano rendition of Sister, you did a great job.

Thanks. It's just a series of chords and melodies I've improvised over.
nice
This is very good, it reminds me of gorillaz but with something new it stays that way :D
chill af
This is very, VERY good.
Thanks!
Mesmerizing!
Very Radioheadesque, both in the instruments and in the voice, however I cannot tell if the off-key singing is on purpose or not, same for the lack of poetical rhythm of some sentences. Will listen to the rest of the artist's work anyway, I think there is, at the very least, potential in it + it was a few years ago and I wonder how it evolved. Also motivates me to start my own art too. Keep at it, keep arting ;)
Thank you kindly! I made this song about 6 years ago as a 22 year old trying to navigate a lo-fi but high-minded (or at least I'd like to think so) kind of music production with an emphasis on organic acoustic instruments and a lot electronic synths. I had definitely been listening to a lot of Radiohead around that time and had been a fan before so naturally a lot of the stuff I made took on that characteristics. But I also was big on Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom and other more indie-folk artists and wanted to combine the soft, earnest sentiments of folk with the sonic landscapes I heard from Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Brian Eno and minimalists like Arvo Part and Steve Reich. You are correct, though. I am so off-key here that it hurts! I don't know how I let myself get away with being both pitchy AND off-rhythm. Part of it was intentional to add a turbulent aspect but most of it was uncalled for. While even today, succinctness and clarity aren't my strengths, I've got a lot more used to the click-track/metronome and anytime I record, I try my best to line up my audio whether it's guitar, piano or some VST up with the beat. I guess I'm still caught between the freeform nature of experimental music and the exactitude of more listener-friendly content. Thank you!
thank you youtube algorithm. this is unnerving and calming simultaneously. a nuanced, nostalgic, nefarious flavor
Thank you! I was going for a strange blend of emotions with this.
I fuck heavy with this shit.
:)
i've been dealing with a really bad breakup after 3 years of being in a relationship. this helped me. thank you.
Glad it this could be of some comfort. I wrote/played it at a pretty dark time in my life and for the longest time wasn't sure if I should post it. But then I figured it wouldn't do any good if I keep stuff I made private.
just finished my bottle, i have to be at work in 4 hours, i might be able to sleep after hearing this. thank you
cut the drinking man, whats the point of you remembering most your life as vivid visions and black outs while youre on your deathbed
That's great to hear! If even one person's comforted by this it makes me feel like I'm doing something right.
@@SesameCakewhy did you delete my reply?
wow
I love this song, and now I love you. Thank you for this.
Thank you! I'll be sure to cover more of their music.
